MAG once again proved its technology leading position and unrivalled range of solutions at the 11th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) in Beijing from April 6 to 11, 2009. High performance products for milling, turning and cold forming technology were at the center of attention on an exhibition space of more than 400m². The application of the “hardware” was perfectly illustrated by example solutions from the Wind power, Automotive, Railway and Aerospace industries.
As one of the top four machine tool shows worldwide, CIMT attracted more than 120,000 trade visitors. Held for the first time at the new Beijing International Exhibition Center, the leading Chinese and international machine tool builders presented their latest technologies and high performance products.
A premiere at CIMT was the new public technology boulevard: for the first time, the general public was given the opportunity to view the latest developments in machine concepts, technology integration and sophisticated manufacturing processes.
The informative and attractive booth concept, attracted many professional visitors and created interesting opportunities for MAG. Orders for entire manufacturing systems for engine components, including processing technology were received from Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Changzhou Diesel, further horizontal machining centers XS 211, XS 321, gantry loaders and vertical machining centers CFV for cylinder head production.
