Application tips
Use your cover letter to provide us a short and concise summary of information regarding your education, occupational history and the field of activity you pursue. Don't forget to submit your application in table form and relevant transcripts or references.
Please make sure to organize your application chronologically. It would also help us tremendously if your descriptions were exact with regard to your education, course of study, time frames, and type of academic degree. The same applies for your professional work experience, e.g. from - until, employer, job title and responsibilities/fields of activity. If you have EDP and/or foreign language skills we welcome your honest assessment and information about interesting hobbies, leisure activities, etc.
If you are applying for an open position we would also like to know the exact position and location you are interested in. If you decide to forward your unsolicited application then also please consider in advance the location where you would like to work. In addition, we also find it worth knowing how you became aware of our job advertisement.
We prefer electronic (e-mail) applications but are also pleased to receive traditional paper applications forwarded by mail. If you are applying via e-mail keep in mind that it may be more practical to package all of your documents in a single Word or PDF document. PDF print drivers are free of charge and easy to find via the Internet.
Please keep in mind: An e-mail application is subject to the same basic rules as a traditional paper application. The only thing that’s different is the form of transfer. Correct grammar and spelling, formalities, and mode of interaction must be maintained. This is your calling card and your are presenting yourself. So make sure to be ambitious!
