At the international metal working show AMB, MAG will present extraordinary innovations, proving its status as one of the leading technology companies in the field. The ideal manufacturing solutions are at the centre of the presentations in hall 4, stand C 42 and hall 5, stand C 72.
At the AMB 2010, visitors to the MAG stand can experience how a flexible, modular portfolio of products and services are combined to deliver substantial productivity enhancements. The technological and application experience of renowned manufacturers such as Hüller Hille, Hessapp or Boehringer are the force behind the new machine generations and technology solutions that cover a broad range of applications. Among the highlights are live demonstrations in 5-axis, mill-turn machining and efficient processing of gears in one setup including gear hobbing on the MAG vertical turning center VDM 1000 H. Beside the NBV 700 5X for simultaneous 5-axis operations, the newly available 5-axis and mill-turn version of the NBH 630 horizontal machining center will be another must see for the machine tool audience.
Dr. Christian Lang, member of the MAG IAS GmbH executive board: „This year’s AMB is the ideal time and platform for a whole range of newly developed products. New technologies and machining innovations are a significant aspect, but the overall target and decisive factor is always productivity. MAG is a global solution provider and innovative productivity partner covering all aspects of efficient manufacturing. The distinguishing features of the company are an exceptionally broad portfolio and unmatched wealth of experience“.
MAG has, within recent years, grown into a global entity with a consolidated and streamlined structure enabling customers direct access to the unified portfolio of the renowned legacy brands united in the group. Consequently, the application support is continuously being expanded to ensure that all manufacturing requirements and service needs of the customer base are covered: „Technical sales, application services, demonstration and presentation capacities are all being expanded“.
AMB is comparable to a home game for MAG, as the manufacturer with the largest manufacturing and service capacities in the region. At the show, the large local customer base can directly discuss projects and take a closer look at the great variety of solutions the company is offering. The portfolio covers machines, engineering, service as well as tools, fluids, components, automation and software. The MAG software group, e-tekx, presents its productivity enhancing integrated monitoring and analysis tools and systems in hall 4, C 42.
