U5 Universal Machining Center

MAG’s U5 Series Universal Machining Centers brings the lean revolution to machining of extra-large complex geometry parts. Available is bridge-type and rail-type models, five-axis/five-side machining and automatic interchangeable head capability delivers faster processing to reduce work-in-process on large, high-value parts, while avoiding refixturing and set-ups for greater part accuracies. Ready-for-anything configurability, the U5 delivers heavy cuts in fewer setups for faster processing and reduced workin-process. A vast range of options, including a rail or moving table platform, automatic tool change and especially automatic head change (in less than two minutes), gives the machine universal ready-for-anything capability.
