    MC Series

    The MC Series adds machining center capabilities to MAG horizontal boring mills. Automate large part production and reduce non-cutting time with the MC Series standard two-pallet shuttle system and tool changer. Multiple pallet configurations are available.

    Advantages

    • Modular design – select machine features and capabilities based on applications. Choose from three headstocks – two or four-speed, 130 or 155 mm diameter.
    • Robust design with one-piece, gray iron casting column base and bed. Rigid machining platform handles toughest cutting requirements.

    • The rigidity of MAG boring mills makes it possible to take heavy cuts. The video shows several horsepower cuts including a 100 hp cut with a 10 inch face mill and cutting of stainless steel.

    Options

    MAG horizontal boring mill options make the machines more productive by offering machining versatility and automation. Turning, facing and contour boring operations are possible with contouring heads and programmable boring bars. The result is fewer setups, improved cycle times and reduced tooling costs.
